The chainsaw features an instant start switch which contributes to fast and uncomplicated handling, whilst the low noise levels allow you to work without disturbing your neighbours, perfect for residential areas. Thanks to the brushless motor the tool will deliver up to 30 per cent more power. With a very fast chain speed of 20m/s, making quick, clean cuts, it's never been easier to cut timber, and for safety the chain stops instantly if the chainsaw recoils due to kickback and two button start-up.
Automatic oiling means your blade is always lubricated so it always runs smoothly without needing to stop and apply oil, plus a translucent window lets you easily check the oil levels in an 180ml tank.
The GreenWorks GD40CS18K4 employs an innovative modular 40 volt lithium-ion battery system which means one battery can be used for multiple tools. A 2Ah battery will deliver up to 25 minutes of run time, whilst a larger capacity 4Ah battery will keep you working up to 50 minutes. GreenWorks batteries deliver fade-free power with no memory loss after charging. Complete with LED 'fuel' indicator, you always know how much power you have left.
